Maybe you have never prayed to God yourself. Or maybe you've prayed for years, but have a hard time explaining why. These resources will help you understand what prayer is and why it is so important in the Christian life.
Why Is Prayer Important?
We should pray daily because, if we do not, we will lack the power, insight, and spiritual guidance that we need in our lives. If we do not come before him to commune with Him, then we cut ourselves off from His glory.
Think about it this way, if you have a friend that you don't call or communicate with in any way, do you believe that that friendship will grow? I can tell you that it will not. In fact, that relationship will not only become stagnant, but also be the opposite of its original intent. For Christians, prayer is crucial to learning about and living the life God has designed you to live.
